Butterfinger Cheesecake Frappe Recipe

Add flavor and a slight crunch to your frappe when you add Butterfingers to our New York Style Cheesecake Frappe mix.
Ingredients
  • 4 fl oz (118 mL) of milk
  • 2 scoops (7 tbsp. of 80 g) of Big Train New York Style Cheesecake Frappe mix
  • 4-5 cubes of ice
  • crushed Butterfinger candies (to taste)
  • whipped cream (Optional)
  • DaVinci Gourmet Butterscotch syrup (Optional)
Instructions
  1. Pour 4 fl oz (118 mL) of milk into blender
  2. Add 2 scoops (7 tbsp. of 80 g) of Big Train New York Style Cheesecake Frappe mix
  3. Add 4-5 cubes of ice
  4. Add crushed Butterfinger pieces (to taste)
  5. Blend Until Smooth
  6. Top with whipped cream
  7. Garnish with crushed Butterfingers & Butterscotch syrup
Notes
For an option look, drizzle syrup into the glass before pouring frappe.

When Big Train recently launched all new blender-ready pour over real fruit smoothie mixes, we wanted to share our latest line of drink mix products with some local consumers. We reached out to Marcie Taylor aka @suburbanmama on twitter, a social media strategist based in Irvine. Marcie connected us with Beth, the owner at Irvine Coffeehouse Paradise Perks. What a great idea!

After meeting Beth at Paradise Perks in Irvine, we were excited to learn they had been serving Big Train products for years including Big Train Spiced Chai and Dragonly frappes, an Asian themed line of ice blended creme mixes like Taro, Green Tea, Thai tea etc. Paradise Perks was the perfect venue to showcase new real fruit smoothie mixes. And so we set our Luau plans in motion.

Big Train brought a Vitamix Quiet One Blender, new Real Fruit Smoothie pour-over-ice smoothie mixes, a treasure box full of Big Train drink mix samples, and a huge box of leis.

While Hawaiian music played, our Luau guests enjoyed great food, samples all the new Real Fruit Smoothie Mixes(Strawberry, Mango, Superfruit, Strawberry Banana, Peach and Wildberry). Beth and her staff were very accommodating and were great to work with.

Fruit Protein 12 Healthy Smoothie Shake Recipes using Vanilla Fit Frappe

Fruit and protein. Yes you can have delicious healthy shakes and smoothies with fruits and protein too. We asked our customers and social media friends for some creative protein shake recipes.

Big Train’s Vanilla flavor Fit Frappe is a gourmet protein mix powder. This flavor has no coffee but it has 20 grams of protein in a 16 oz serving, less than 130 calories, only 1g of sugar, 5g fiber, and 19 vitamins and minerals. Our customers are using Vanilla Fit Frappe powder mix as a base to create amazing healthy drinks.

Strawberry Nutella Power Shake Recipe

Add one tablespoon of Nutella hazelnut spread and fresh strawberries to a Fit Frappe Vanilla protein shake recipe. Blend and enjoy!

Peach Protein Vanilla Freeze Recipe:
Combine one small can of no-sugar added peaches, 2 scoops Vanilla Fit Frappe protein mix, 5 squirts of Cinnamon syrup, 1c cup of water. Add all to a blender and puree til very smooth. Pour into a small flat glass pan and place in freezer. When frozen, score over and over with a fork till little granuals form, serve with some Light whipped cream!

Orange Peach Creamy Protein Popsicle Smoothie Recipe:
Add a sachet of orange flavored Crystal light and a scoop of frozen peach yogurt. Add  some chopped flesh of a fresh peach. Add one scoop of vanilla Fit Frappe protein powder. Add ice and water (or vanilla Soy or Almond milk). Blend, smile, savor, and serve.

Big Train Choo-Choo Cherry Protein Shake Recipe:

Mix 1-2 scoops of Big Train’s Vanilla Fit Frappe protein base mix with 1/4 cup water and 1/2 cup milk. Add 6-8 frozen black cherries, 1/4 cup of non-fat greek yogurt, 1-2 squirts of sugar free black cherry syrup (if you have some) and a handful of ice cubes. Mix in blender until smooth. Enjoy!

Green Protein Smoothie Recipe: (Be careful this tastes way better than it looks.)
Combine: Almond milk, Ice, Spinach, Frozen mango, Frozen pineapple, Big Train Vanilla Fit Frappe protein mix. Mix & blend. Enjoy!

Matcha Protein Shake Recipe:
One scoop Fit Frappe Vanilla protein powder, one cup almond milk, one teaspoon matcha powder and one
scoop organic honey powder, agave for flavoring.

Berry Protein Smoothie Recipe:
Combine one scoop Fit Frappe Vanilla, your favorite frozen berries, skim milk, sugar free vanilla pudding (about 1-2 tbsp). Blend and serve.

Tropical Protein Shake Recipe
For a tropical twist for summer, mix pineapple, mango, banana (and some spinach to make it extra healthy) with 1-2 scoops of Vanilla Fit Frappe protein mix. Mix with ice and water. Blend and serve. It’s always fun to throw some frozen banana or berries on top.

Blueberry Protein Smoothie Recipe:
Mix fresh blueberries plus vanilla fit frappe topped with just a dash (for presentation’s sake) of blueberry syrup and or fresh blueberries.

Acai Superfruit Antioxidant Protein Shake Recipe:
Combine Vanilla Fit Frappe with frozen acai cubes blended to perfection with non-dairy almond milk and topped with raw cacao nibs. Add goji berries and chia seeds. What are goji berries? (aka Wolfberry high antioxidant super fruits.)

Strawberry Lemonade Protein Smoothie Recipe:
Mix 2 scoops of vanilla Fit Frappe mix, 6 oz of water, 1 cup of crushed ice, 1/2 cup sliced strawberries, and half of a small lemon.

Peach Power Ice Cream Shake Recipe:
Blend 3/4 cup almond milk, 1 scoop of Fit Frappe vanilla protein mix, 4 to 6 slices frozen peaches, 1 oz peach syrup, sprinkle of cinnamon, honey or agave sweetener, and about 8 ice cubes.

Ingredients
  • Fit Frappe Vanilla protein powder mix
  • DaVinci Gourmet raspberry or strawberry syrup (sugar free or regular) or jelly
  • PB2 peanut butter powder (or peanut butter)
  • No fat milk
Instructions
  1. Mix Fit Frappe protein powder mix in some PB2 powder (or regular peanut butter) and some raspberry or strawberry DaVinci syrup (sugar free or regular) and have a liquid PB and J! Another option: 1 cup of 0% milk, 1 scoop Big Train Fit Frappe protein powder, 1 spoon full of PB and 1 spoon full of any flavor jelly, blend with ice.

Instructions
  1. Follow your favorite blended drink recipe in your favorite coffee flavor, but use cold coffee in place of the water.
  2. Freeze in a shallow container until mostly solid then scrape with a fork to form granules.
  3. Heap in a pretty dessert glass and garnish with whipped cream and a couple of fresh berries!
  4. You can also make coffee soft serve if you are willing to replace some of the water in the blended recipe with milk then freeze, stirring often, for a couple of hours until it reaches soft serve consistency.

  • Chocolate pudding (sugar free to save calories)
  • Peppermint Syrup (No sugar added if you can find it)
  • Extra shot of espresso or coffee if desired
  • Peppermint candy pieces for topping
Instructions
  1. Follow instructions on your Fit Frappe packaging. Add slightly less water. Add chocolate pudding and peppermint syrup. Blend until smooth. Add additional espresso or coffee if desired.
